Actually...we used to stand up for the national anthem in movie theatres. I recall going to see Dr.Zhivago with a friend who refused to stand and said he would stand during the film if they played the Russian anthem.

Hello again from Saint John, NB! What's interesting is that Aqua has six sides so more suites have a view of the lake. Most of the other complexes in harbourfront are the typical four sided box-like structures so if you are not facing south you are most likely looking at another building, or the Gardiner Expressway.

My condo faced the lake, so the noise from the Gardiner wasn't noticeable. I did, however, have to get used to the clang-clang sound of the streetcar as it turned the corner at Queen's Quay and Spadina. Wasn't really a problem. But you're right, a Gardiner-facing condo wouldn't have been to my liking and would have changed the entire experience.

Thank you for your input! I'm still looking at several different buildings in harbourfront, but Aqua really appeals to me due to its location and design. What was the noise from the Gardener Expressway like?

I may be moving home to Toronto in the next year, and if so, harbourfront will be home!

Hi Stephen. That's correct; I rented a condo on the second floor of Aqua (Suite 203) and loved it. I enjoyed being able to walk anywhere in the downtown core. The Harbourfront area has its charms any time of year — even in the dead of winter. If I'd remained in Toronto, I would have been interested in buying a suite in that building. It was well-maintained and the location was fantastic. Large balcony, locker and a parking space to boot, plus guest parking and access to a guest suite for special occasions. And I loved the rooftop patio and party room. Good luck!

Fantastic photos! It looks like some of the shots were from the roof patio of the Aqua condos at the foot of Spadina and QQW. I'm considering buying a suite at Aqua...any suggestions, comments, etc. regarding the building or neighbourhood. Did you enjoy your year in Harbourfront?
